Zuk Z2 launched with Snapdragon 820
Lenovo has unveiled its Cyanogen-based flagship ZUK Z2 at an event in China. The smartphone is priced at CNY 1,799 and is currently available in China only.
The Zuk Z2 runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with ZUI 2.0 skinned on top. The dual SIM ( Nano + Nano) device supports 4G LTE. The device features a 5-inch full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of ~441 ppi.
The Z2 is powered by the 64-bit 2.15GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 GPU. The device comes with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The device does not support microSD expansion.
The Zuk Z2 sports a 13 MP primary camera with EIS, phase detection autofocus, LED flash and f/2.2 aperture. On the front, it comes with a 8 MP with 1.4 µm pixel size and f/2.0 aperture. The Z2 supports slow motion video shooting at 960fps.
The Z2 is powered by a 3,500 mAh battery that supports Qualcomm’s latest Quick Charge 3.0. It comes with a U-Touch 2.0 fingerprint reader that can even recognize a wet finger. Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.1 BLE, and USB 2.0 Type-C port.
