ZTE Zmax 2 Launched With Snapdragon 400
ZTE has launched the successor to the Zmax that was launched last year, dubbed as the Zmax 2. The device has been priced at $149.99 and is available off contract from AT&T. The device is available only in Black color.
The ZTE Zmax 2 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The device features a 5.5 inch HD (720×1280) display. It comes with a pixel density of ~267 PPI. The display is smaller compared to the 5.7 inch display of the ZTE Zmax.
The ZTE Zmax 2 is powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clubbed with Adreno 306 GPU. The device comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card.
Coming to the camera department, the ZTE Zmax 2 features an 8 MP primary camera with an LED flash. The camera comes with features such as Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR and panorama. On the front, the device sports a 2 MP secondary camera for selfies.
The device is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery. Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and microUSB v2.0. The device comes with sensors such as accelerometer, proximity and compass.
