YU Yunicorn Launched In India For Rs. 12,999
YU Yunicorn was launched in India today at an attractive price of Rs. 12,999. The latest flagship smartphone from the Micromax subsidiary runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and ditches Cyanogen OS in favour of stock Android.
The YU Yunicorn comes with a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixel) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device is powered by a 1.8 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor coupled with 4 GB of RAM.
The device comes with 32 GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The Yunicorn comes with hybrid dual-SIM microSD card and the second SIM slot can either be used for SIM or microSD card.
The YU Yunicorn comes with a 13 MP primary camera with phase detection autofocus and dual-LED flash. There is a 5 MP front camera for selfies.
Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, microUSB v2.0, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS and FM radio. The device is powered by 4000 mAh battery.
Pricing and Availability
The YU Yunicorn has been priced at Rs. 12,999 and will be available on June 7. After a month, the price will be increased to Rs. 13,499. It will be available in silver, graphite and gold color options.
