Yu announce Yunique, a 5000 rupee LTE smartphone
Yunique is the name of the third Android smartphone from YU Televentures, sub-brand of Micromax and the new smartphone is priced at just4,999/- INR. The display is 4.7” in size and has a 720p resolution IPS LCD panel. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410, Yunique comes pre-loaded with Cyanogen OS 12.1 (build on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop). There is 1GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage. The best part is that Yunique has 4G LTE chip and is one of the cheapest 4G LTE smartphones available across the globe. The bummer though is that the phone will be sold on Snapdeal and via flash sales.
Other specs include 8mp rear camera, 2mp front facing camera, 2000mAh battery. The registrations for the first flash sale (to happen on September 12, at 12 noon ) are open.
