Xolo Era 2X With Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE Launched At Rs. 6,666
Xolo has launched another entry level smartphone in India. The company had earlier launched the Era 1X and Era 2, both entry level smartphones. Xolo has continued with a similar pricing for the Era 2X as well, which succeeds the Era 2. It features a 5 inch HD display and comes with 4G VoLTE support out of the box.
Xolo Era 2X Specifications
The Xolo Era 2X comes with a 5 inch HD IPS LCD display. At 1280 x 720 pixels on a 5 inch display, you get a pixel density of ~294 PPI. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
Coming to the processor, the Era 2X comes with a 1.25 GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK6737 processor and Mali T720 GPU. The phone comes in two RAM variants – 2 GB and 3 GB. The phone’s internal storage is fixed at 16 GB, with the ability to expand it using a microSD card up to 32 GB.
The Era 2X comes with an 8 MP camera on the back, featuring 5P Largan lens and an f/2.0 aperture. The rear camera is assisted by a single LED flash. On the front, the phone comes with a 5 MP camera for selfies and video calling.
In terms of connectivity, the Era 2X comes with dual SIM, 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS and FM Radio. The phone is powered by a 2500 mAh battery and features a regular microUSB 2.0 port.
Pricing And Availability
Xolo has launched the Era 2X in two variants – 2 GB and 3 GB RAM. Both the variants come with the same 16 GB internal storage. The 2 GB RAM variant is priced at Rs. 6,666 and the 3 GB variant is priced at Rs. 7,499.
The phone will be available in two colours – Latte Gold and Gunmetal. The Era 2X will be sold exclusively on Flipkart starting on January 9.
