Xiaomi teases new event on July 16th
Xiaomi is going to launch a few new devices on July 16th. The company released a couple of teasers, hinting towards a few new products and among those will be a couple of phones. We’re told that they will be the Mi 5 and the Mi 5 Plus.
The Chinese company has been having a fabulous run in China and India, two of the biggest markets for the company. The Xiaomi Mi 3, 4 and the India-specific 4i have been great successes for the company, and so have the Redmi 1S, Redmi Note 4G. The new flagship announcement, and probably a new Mi Box for streaming content to your TV is being rumoured to be the new devices that Xiaomi is teasing.
We could actually be looking at three new phones, going by one of the images. The other image shows off an adapter with a USB Type C port, but it’s all really well done to actually be sure about anything. We’ll refrain from speculating about the specs of these devices for now, but we’ll be sure to bring you the news as and when it happens.
