Xiaomi Redmi 3s launched with 4100mAh battery
Xiaomi has launched yet another budget smartphone in the form of a variant of the Redmi 3 in China, dubbed as the Xiaomi Redmi 3s. The Redmi 3s comes in 2 variants, the 2 GB RAM variant has been priced at CNY 699 and the 3 GB RAM variant has been price at CNY 899.
The Redmi 3s runs on MIUI 7.0 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The device features a 5 inch HD ( 720 x 1280 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of ~294 ppi.
The Xiaomi Redmi 3s is powered by a 1.4 GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 with Adreno 505 GPU. The 2 GB RAM variant comes with 16 GB of internal storage and the 3 GB RAM variant comes with 32 GB of internal storage.
The internal storage can be further expanded up to 256 GB by using microSD card. The device does not have a dedicated microSD card so the second SIM slot can be used either for a SIM card or for a microSD card.
The Xiaomi Redmi 3s features a 13 MP primary camera with phase detection autofocus, f/2.0 aperture, HDR mode and LED flash. On the front, it comes with a 5 MP secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture.
The Redmi 3s is powered by a 4,100 battery just like the Redmi 3. The Redmi 3s will be available in Grey, Silver, and Gold color options. There is no information on the global availability of the device.
