Xiaomi Redmi 2 announced – 4.7″ HD display, 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor
Xiaomi has unveiled the successor to the very successful Redmi 1S, called the Redmi 2. The Redmi 2 is not a big upgrade over the Redmi 1S, but it’s already very good for the price Xiaomi has set – 699 RMB or about $110 (Rs. 7,000). You get a 4.7” IPS LCD display, an 8 MP camera and a 64-bit quad core processor.

The Chinese giant will be making it available soon in China, with the first sale starting on January 9th. However, the exact availability details for other markets are not known just yet.
