Xiaomi Mi VR Play Headset Launched In India At Rs. 999
Xiaomi announced the launch of yet another accessory in India. The latest Xiaomi product to be launched in India is the Mi VR Play Headset. Xiaomi has priced the VR headset at Rs. 999.
Xiaomi Mi VR Play Headset Details
The Mi VR Play headset will be available for purchase on Xiaomi’s official website, mi.com. The headset comes in black colour, but Xiaomi announced that it will soon bring limited edition colourful designs as well.
As far as compatibility with phones is concerned, the Mi VR Play headset can be used with VR capable phones with display size between 4.7 to 5.7 inches. The headset itself is made of lycra fabric, making the headset easier to use for longer periods of time. The company says that the fabric used is lightweight and skin friendly too, making it that much more user friendly. On the front, the headset comes with a zipper which should protect your phone from falling down.
The Mi VR headset weighs 209 grams and measures 201 x 107 x 91 mm. It is compatible with both Google Cardboard as well as YouTube 360 degree videos.
Xiaomi also announced the launch of the Mi Live Stream app for India. Speaking on the launch, Xiaomi said,
“Mi Live is our live stream app where you can share your daily thoughts, music talents, fitness tips, and more with the world.It has several built-in features like video chat and Beautify. In Mi Live, you can talk to the hosts, send comments, and they can respond to you in real time. It’s very interactive.”
