Xiaomi Mi store app launched in India
Xiaomi has released a beta version of its Mi store app in India, letting Indian users purchase from Xiaomi directly using this app. It is still in beta though, so bugs are expected and users are encouraged to report them to Xiaomi to help squash them.
While it is still in beta and as such, bugs are bound to be there, Xiaomi will still allow users to buy smartphones, tablet and accessories. Users can also change or add addresses, redeem coupons etc. However, users will have to download and install the .apk file manually, as Xiaomi is not using the Google Play Store to push out a beta version of its app.
Xiaomi currently sells the Redmi 2, Redmi Note 4G, Mi 4i and the Mi 4 on its Indian Mi store. Accessories like powerbanks, covers, Mi band and the Mi light are also available for purchase on the store and these all can be bought from the Mi store app as well.
