Xiaomi announce Mi Powerbank Pro 10000mAh external charger
Xiaomi’s Mi Powerbank is definitely one of the best but the problem is that it is fat. Today, Xiaomi has announced Mi Powerbank Pro that is 42% thinner than the current variant. The new 10000mAh power bank is almost as thin as the 5000mAh variant and it supports USB Type C charging. This means that you recharge the 2015 MacBook using this power bank. The Mi powerbank Pro is priced at just $22.
Mi Powerbank Pro comes with 18W fast charging, so recharging devices is much faster. For example, it took under 2 hours to charge Mi Note Pro from zero to 100 and it took around two and a half hours to charge the same phone using Mi Powerbank 10400mAh variant. Another great feature of Mi Powerbank Pro is its ability to recharge small voltage devices like Mi Band. A double tap on power button will switch the powerbank into low voltage mode to recharge these devices.
Safety side, there is nine layer circuit protection (from Texas Instruments) and also has USB smart-control and charge/discharge chips (also from TI). The efficiency has also improved to 93%, thanks to advanced resistance capacitance sensors.
