Xiaomi Mi Band 1S announced, comes with heart rate sensor
Xiaomi’s Mi Band is the highest selling wearable device and today, Xiaomi has announced its successor and the new Band, 1S, comes with a heart rate sensor. Heart rate sensor is one major feature that was missing on the Mi Band and now, even with the sensor on, the price is still dead cheap, at $16 (CNY 99). The original band is now selling for $11 (CNY 69). The new Mi Band 1S will be available from 11th of November in China.
Due to the slightly bigger size, the Band 1S will not fit in bracelets designed for the original Mi Band. The new dimension is 37 x 14 x 9 mm. 1S retains the same LED pattern, IP67 rating for dust and water protection. The battery is rated at 45mAh and can keep the device alive for a month.
