The Waze app for Android has been updated and the updated Waze 4.0 is officially available on Google Play. The app comes with a brand new interface, smart reminders based on your calendar events, and a lot more.
Waze claims to have “significantly” reduced battery consumption, while also incorporating a redesigned reporting menu where one can share road information with other drivers.
The changelog also includes “fewer taps.” This means, when you start up the app, it will take fewer taps to start a drive, send locations, as well as get directions.
There is a new ETA panel that will show you reports, check alternate routes, add stops, and more.
