Wacom announce Bamboo Spark digital pen that can also write on paper

Wacom has announced interesting new smart folio, the Bamboo Spark for those who constantly input data into tablet using a digital pen. The new Bamboo Spark digital pen can synchronize the content to Wacom Cloud. The content can be anything that is written using the new digital pen. The unique feature is that you can use this as a normal pen and write on a paper and with the touch of a button, all of this will be synced to Wacom Cloud. This will be a huge relief for those who hate writing and sketching on a display. Bamboo Spark will be available in USA and EMEA soon and will cost $159.95 (USD), €159.90 (EUR)*, £119.99 (GBP)*. Ink cartridges are available in packs of three for $9.99.

Users need to download the new Bamboo Spark application for iOS or Android to make full use of the new smart folio. Once the pen is paired with the device/app, every stroke is recorded to the application when the button at the centre of the device is pushed. Up to 100 pages (A5 size) can be saved in offline mode. When battery is low, the pen can be charged using USB cable and one charge will give upto 8 hours of continuous usage. When the pen is out of ink, you can purchase refills on Wacom eStore and once filled up, you can get up to three months of use.
