Vivo Y79 bezel less phone released in China
Vivo Y79 is the new Android smartphone with 18:9 bezel-less display. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625, the Vivo Y79 is now available in China for CNY2498 and may soon launch in India. The display on the phone is same as that on Vivo V7+. At launch, the phone comes with Android Nougat preloaded. As this phone is targeted at selfie lovers, there is a 24mp front facing camera.
The signs for 2018 are pretty clear. The end of road for phones with fat bezels is approaching fast. Vivo V79 is another midrange phone from the Chinese brand that focuses on FullView display and selfie camera to woo buyers. The front camera also has ‘Moonlight Glow’ selfie light and the rear camera has a 16mp sensor. Given that the display only has 720p resolution and that the SD625 chipset is power efficient, the onboard 3225mAh battery should last pretty long.
