Vivo Y55L Launched For Rs. 11,980
Vivo has launched its 4G VoLTE enabled smartphone, the Y55L in India for Rs. 11,980. The device is an upgrade to the Y51L that was launched in January this year. The device will be available in Gold and Space Grey color options for Rs. 11,980 starting from October 15.
The Vivo Y55L runs on Funtouch OS 2.6 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The device features a 5.2 inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The device comes with a pixel density of ~282 PPI.
The Vivo Y55L is powered by a 64 bit Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor clocked at 1.4GHz clubbed with Adreno 505 GPU. The device comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card.
Commenting on the launch, Kent Cheng, CEO, Vivo India said, “India is a very important market for us because of the maximum smartphone penetration. We want to cater to every price point with our innovative products. And, through Y55L we want to tap the users that are looking for a smartphone that not just looks great but also delivers the desired results with its overall package.”
Coming to the camera department, the Vivo Y55L features an 8 megapixel primary camera with LED flash. On the front, the device sports a 5 megapixel secondary camera for selfies.
The Vivo Y55L is powered by a 2650 mAh battery. Connectivity options on the device include 4G with VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, 3.5mm audio jack, and Micro USB 2.0.
