Vivo launches Vivo X7 and X7 Plus
Vivo has launched two new selfie-centric smartphones in its home country, China. The devices are dubbed as Vivo X7 and Vivo X7 Plus. Both the X7 and X7 Plus come with a unibody metal design.
The X7 and X7 Plus run on Funtouch OS 2.5.1 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The X7 features a a 5.2-inch (1080 x 1920 pixels) full HD Super Amoled 2.5D display and the X7 Plus features a 5.7-inch (1080 x 1920 pixels) full HD Super AMOLED 2.5D display.
Both Vivo X7 and X7 Plus are powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor with 4 GB of RAM. The device comes with 64 GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256 GB via microSD card.
The Vivo X7 comes with a 13 MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture, phase detection autofocus and LED flash. On the front, it features a 16 MP secondary camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash.
The Vivo X7 Plus features a 16 MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus and LED flash. It also has a 16 MP secondary camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac and Micro-USB. The X7 is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery and the X7 Plus is powered by a 4,000 mAh battery.
The Vivo X7 will be available from July 7 and has been priced at CNY 2,498. The X7 Plus will be available from July 15. The price of the X7 Plus will be revealed later.
