Updating an Android phone is very easy. But before that, you have to make sure that your phone has atleast 40% of battery and that the process will take time. During this time, you should not operate or power off your phone. Also, do not miss our “Recommended Smartphones” list that contains best smartphones for every budget.

But before you update your phone, make sure that:

1. Battery level is above 40% and make sure phone doesnt switch off.
2. Do not use your phone or power off your phone.
3. Do not root your phone as that voids warranty.

• Open [Settings] application.
• Scroll and tap on [System update] to check if your phone has a new software update.
• When there is new update available, follow on screen instructions to get update installed.
