Using DLNA
Using DLNA function, you can display videos and images from your phone, on your TV and you can also play music in your phone through your TV. To enable that, follow these steps:
- Connect your phone and your TV to same Wi-Fi network. Make sure that your TV supports DLNA function.
- Open [Settings] application.
- Go to [Smart Mirroring].
- Click on settings icon at top right corner to turn it on.
- On some phones, you can turn on DLNA from [settings] > [More Settings] > [DLNA].
- Open Share folder and Share file types to share folder and type of files that you want to open on your TV.
- On your TV, connect to your phone and you will see the list of media files that you have shared from your phone.
Smart Mirror
Smart Mirror function lets you mirror your phone to your TV. Whatever is seen on your phone display will be shared on your screen. To enable Smart Mirror functionality
- Open Settings application.
- Go to Smart Mirroring(Wi-Fi Display)>Screen Mirroring.
- Turn on Smart Mirror functionality.
- Connect your supported TV and phone to connect to same Wi-Fi network.
- Search for supported devices from your phone and once your TV comes up in the list, connect ot TV. This enables Smart mirror function.
