Asus has announced that its upcoming devices will all come with Adblock Plus integrated in its browser. This Asus browser will come with Adblock Plus enabled by default on every new device launched by the Taiwanese company.
Asus’s move comes on the back of Apple’s move to let third-party apps hook into the Safari browser and block ads. According to the report, Asus will be pushing out a new version of its browser for its new devices that comes included with this feature. Adblock Plus is one of the most popular adblocking apps on desktop browsers and has been available as a standalone app for Android for a while now.
To help good ads survive and support publishers, Adblock Plus comes with a toggle to allow inobtrusive ads be displayed.
