Trump allows US companies to trade with Huawei

In what appears to be a great moment of triumph for Huawei, POTUS has finally come forward and removed the restrictions proposed on US companies to trade with Huawei. A few weeks ago, the Trump government banned trading of any kind by any US companies with Huawei. The tech giant Huawei did not accept defeat easily. They have been putting in all their efforts to make the Trump government realize the implications of the ban.

The G20 summit in Japan is underway and both US President Donald Trump and China’s President Xi Jinping are attending it. Donald Trump came forward to put an end to the trade war between the two countries. Addressing the press and Media, Trump said that his government would allow US companies to sell equipment and technology to Huawei as long as it does not threaten the US national security. Huawei is also likely to be removed off the Commerce Department’s entities list by Tuesday, but that decision is yet to come.

US companies have not been happy about the ban and they have been complaining to their government. Huawei is not a minuscule entity to be crushed with ban and it looks like Trump government finally realizes that.

Earlier this week, Huawei India tweeting that anyone who owns an Honor mobile will continue to receive updates. All their apps will continue to work as before. We were unsure about the newly launched Honor 20 series and we advised our readers to hold on to their decisions. But now it looks like Huawei is back in the game. Huawei customers, potential and existing, can have a breath of relief. We will be following the developments closely and we may also bring back the Huawei/Honor mobiles back to our recommendation list.
