Toshiba announces WT310 11.6″ business tablet, runs Windows 8 Pro
Toshiba has announced launch of WT310 Windows 8 pro tablet that is targeted at businesses. WT310 comes with a 1.6″ FullHD display and is powered by Intel Core processor. There is no mention of price and the tablet will be available in UK from Q2 2013. WT310 comes with a DigitizerPen that converts handwritten notes into editable text and the tablet is secured by security and data management features. Select WT310 models comes with features like Intel® Anti-Theft, Trusted Platform Module (TPM) chip, Intel® Active Management Technology that made it infinitely more secure.
WT310 comes with a wide array of ports that make it much better than competition. A HDMI micro port, full size USB 3.0 port and SD card slot make it easier to connect with other devices and TV, an optional docking cradle comes with additional ports to connect to keyboard and external HDD etc. Intel Wireless DIsplay support means that the tablet can connect to ‘supported’ TV or projector without connecting the tablet using wires.
