Toshiba announce Portege R30 notebook for SMBs
Toshiba Portégé R30 is a new addition to the famous Portégé lineup of business laptops for small and medium sized businesses. Powered by 4th generation Core processors, R30 notebook comes with Windows 8.1 pre-loaded. The Portégé R30 has an MSRP of $829.99 and is available through Toshiba’s Resellers and partners such as CDW, PC Connection and Zones.
Portégé R30 also comes with ‘Toshiba Quality Guarantee’. This means that Toshiba will replace the notebook with a new R30 if LCD panel or hard drive or memory or system board fails within first six months of ownership.
Portégé R30 can have up to 16GB of DDR3 memory, upto a terabyte of hybrid hard drive or 512GB of SSD. Thanks to the built in ‘Trusted Platform Module’ and fingerprint reader, Portégé R30 adds safety for the business users. Other features include 3x USB 3.0 ports, full size HDMI port, media card reader, LAN port, DVD drive. Portégé R30 has a magnesium alloy chassis with shock absorbing design, honeycomb reinforcement structure that prevents damage from accidental drops.
