TCL 562 smartphone launched in India at Rs. 10,999
Chinese electronics manufacturer has launched the TCL 562 smartphone in India. The device has been priced at Rs. 10,999. The device will be sold by Amazon India from August 3. As an introductory offer, Idea users will get 1 GB data free for 3 months. TCL is also offering Kindle e-books worth Rs. 200 for free.
The device runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. It features a 5.5 inch Full HD IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. The device comes with a pixel density of ~400 ppi.
The TCL 562 smartphone is powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 SoC processor with Mali T860 GPU. It comes with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The internal storage on the device can be expanded up to 64 GB via microSD card.
Commenting on the launch, Praveen Valecha, Regional Director, TCL India said, “Our entry into the smartphones and television category in India is a strategic move that reinforces our commitment to lead technology and innovation.”
The TCL 562 smartphone features a 13 MP primary camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, and 5P lens. On the front, the device comes with a 5 MP secondary camera with LED flash,
The device is powered by a 2,960 mAh battery. Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS. The dual SIM device comes with a finger print sensor that the company claims is capable of unlocking the smartphone in 0.3 seconds.
