TAG Heuer enter Android Wear market with Carrera premium smart watch
TAG Heuer, a premium watch maker has took the wraps off of their first Android smart watch, the Carrera Connected watch! TAG Heuer Carrera comes with a high resolution transflective Sapphire glass display and in line with most other smart watches, can act as your fitness tracker. The new smart watch will be part of the premium Carrera collection by TAG Heuer. While Carrera may not go head on against Apple iWatch Gold edition, we can expect TAG Heuer to make more premium models down the line.
The watch body is made of titanium case and the signature strap will be available in sevel striking colors. The TAG Heuer dials (watch faces) look stunning and users will be allowed to do heavy customization/personalization. Carrera can track weather, step counts, calories, notify you of incoming messages and more.
“The TAG Heuer Connected represents an incredible collaboration between watchmakers from La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, and engineers from Intel and Google in Silicon Valley, California. With our combined expertise in watchmaking, hardware, and software, we’ve created a watch that we’re excited to share with the world! So check out the TAG Heuer website, and learn more about this beautiful, useful watch”, said, David Singleton, VP of Engineering, Android Wear.
