Swipe Elite 13000 mAh powerbank – First Impressions

Indian mobile brand Swipe has launched a series of Powerbank. The Swipe Elite power bank will be available in 11000 mAh and 13000 mAh capacity. The 11000 mAh Elite Power bank is priced at Rs 999 while the 13000 mAh is priced at Rs 1099. As an inaugural offer, these power banks are available for Rs 899 and Rs 999 on Flipkart for a short period of time. I have been using the 13000 mAh for a few days and here are my first impressions.

In the Box, you would find the power bank and micro-USB to USB cable. The power bank is very light compared to other similar capacity power banks in the market. It has a rubberized feel to it. It also has a rubber grip on the sides. It is slim, but it may not fit your jean pocket along with a mobile comfortably. It has 3 USB ports: 1 A, 2x 2.1A. The output voltage is 5 volts. There is an LED indicator to show the battery capacity. The Elite branding is neat, but the BIS certification and other ratings on the back side is not neatly done.

It takes about 4 hours to get charged and I use my 5v 2A charger to charge it. Once charged, it can quickly charge your devices depending on the device’s capacity and fast charge capability. On an average, I get about 70% output capacity out of the 13000 mAh, which is close to 10000 mAh. Swipe claims that this device has chipset protection, Battery protection circuit safeguards against overcharging, overheating and short circuit protection.
