SwiftKey 6.0 was today released officially, leaving the beta stage that it was in for the last one month. The most popular third party keyboard app for Android brings double word predictions, helping you type faster than ever before.
SwiftKey’s double word predictions works just like normal prediction, but instead of a single word that the keyboard has learnt from your history, you are now presented with two words to double your speed. Admittedly, things won’t be as accurate as with single word prediction before. However, if you use regular sentences more often, you will see your typing speed improve drastically.
Apart from double word prediction, SwiftKey 6.0 also brings support for five new languages – Igbo, Yoruba, Zulu, Breton, and Xhosa. The Settings menu has also been overhauled to be more tap-friendly and clear. A bunch of new theme packs are also now present in the app, in addition to an emoji panel on the ‘123’ key.
The new SwiftKey update is free and is now rolling out to all Android users. The company has not revealed any information about this feature’s availability on iOS. Grab the new SwiftKey 6.0 update for Android below.
