Sony Xperia Z4 launched, 5.2 inch display and Snapdragon 810 processor in tow
Sony has finally launched the Xperia Z4, the latest flagship smartphone from the Japanese giant. The Xperia Z4 comes with a 5.2 inch full HD 1080p display and an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, exactly the way the rumours had suggested.
The Xperia Z4 is more of an iteration of the Xperia Z3. It retains the 5.2 inch 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution display, showing that Sony has resisted the urge to go with the new Quad HD trend. Here are the detailed specs of the Sony Xperia Z4:
- Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sony’s custom UI on top
- 5.2 inch IPS LCD full HD 1080p display, 1920 x 1080 pixels
- Octa core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, Adreno 430 GPU
- 20.7 MP camera, LED flash, Exmor RS sensor with Image Plane Phase Detection Signal Processing Function for High-Speed AF, supports 4K video recording; front facing 5 MP Exmor RS camera
- 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage expandable with a microSD card
- LTE, Wi-FI b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC
- 2930 mAh battery
The Sony Xperia Z4 is an all metal phone with a price tag of 7000 Japanese Yen. It will be available later in the summer.
