Sony Xperia Z3+ launched in India for INR 55,990
Sony today launched its much awaited Xperia Z3+ Android smartphone in India. The Japanese giant had unveiled the Xperia Z3+ in May, iterating on its well received Xperia Z3 announced last year.
Here are the specs of the Xperia Z3+:
- Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sony’s custom skin on top
- 5.2 inch IPS LCD display full HD resolution, 1920 x 1080 pixels, ~424 PPI
- Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, Adreno 430 GPU
- 20.7 MP camera, LED flash, 2160p at 30 FPS recording; front facing 5.1 MP camera
- 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage, expandable with a microSD card
- 4G LTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, FM Radio
- 2930 mAh battery
- INR 55,990
The Sony Xperia Z3+ has been launched at a slightly absurd price of INR 55,990, or about $880. Considering the fact that the Xperia Z3+ is not really a big jump from the Xperia Z3, it is a bit inexplicable to see the price being set so high, especially when competing, and more powerful flagships like the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the LG G4 are around the INR 40,000 mark.
The Xperia Z3+ is now available to purchase in India. Sony will be giving a QuickCharge 2.0 charger worth INR 3,490 and a screen protector for free with the purchase of Xperia Z3+.
