Sony Xperia XZ Premium and the Xperia XZs are example the type of flagship devices that Sony needed to get back into the game. Announced at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, XZ Premium comes with breathtaking 4K HDR display and is powered by super fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chip. Both will be available in Luminous Chrome, Deepsea Black and Ice Blue color options.
The Xperia XZ Premium may not look new as the design is based on the 2016’s XZ but whats inside the hood is true flagship material. There is the super powerful Snapdragon 835 chip, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. IP68 rating means that the phone is dust and water resistant. The power key acts as a fingerprint sensor so you do not have to specifically click home or dedicated key to unlock the phone.
Coming to optics, both the phones come with same camera setup. The rear camera is a 19mp Exmor RS memory stacked image sensor that can take super slow motion videos at 960fps. The rear camera also has a 5 axis image stabilization (SteadyShot) and predictive hybrid autofocus where in the camera will automatically start buffering images when it detects motion even before you press the button, so you can find a moment your eye may just have missed from a selection of up to four shots taken a second before you clicked. The front facing camera is a 13mp Exmor RS unit.
