Sony Xperia L1 announced
Sony Xperia L1 is the new entry level smartphone from Sony, announced this week. The L1 is powered by MediaTek chip and has near edge to edge display. Sony Xperia L1 will soon be available in various markets in black, white and pink color options.
Sony Xperia L1 comes with 5.5″ 720p display and has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. Though the display is a 720p display, do note that we have seen 5.5″ 720p display that are really good to use as it still is closer to the retina display level. The quad core CPU runs at 1.45GHz and the GPU is Mali T720MP2 GPU. If users need more storage, it can be expanded using microSD card (up to 256GB).
At launch, the Sony Xperia L1 runs Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. Coming to optics, there is a 13mp rear facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and the 5mp front facing camera too has f/2.2 aperture. There are two SIM cards and can be enabled for 4G LTE. Other specs include Bluetooth v4.2, USB Type-C port, NFC, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi. The 2620mAh battery is enough to keep the device up and running during the day. With Sony’s STAMINA mode on, you can get a day of battery life with ease.
