Sony launch SmartWatch 3 premium smartwatch across the globe
Among the truckload of smart watches released in the year 2014, there were very very few that looked really good. This year, we will see much better smart watches that bring premium style to the smart watch market. Sony SmartWatch 3 is one such smart watch that was announced at CES last month. Sony has announced this week that the stainless steel premium smart watch will be launched across the globe this week. Smart Watch 3 is compatible with Android Wear bringing wide array of features like loading tunes and playlists to on-board memory, workout tracking, built-in GPS sensor and lifelog etc.
At launch, SmartWatch 3 will be availble in brown or black leather strap options. Smart Watch 3 ‘holder’ kit will launch over coming weeks across the globe and the kit can be used to customize SmartWatch 3 with any 24mm watch strap. Sony will also release stainless steel straps in near future. Sony will include six month access to Todoist Premium service (task manager and to-do list app) on purchase of ‘holder’ kits.
Sony SmartWatch 3 is powered by quad core ARM v7 chip and has a 1.6” Transreflective display with 320×320 pixel resolution display. Battery is 420mAh in size and can give a two day life. You will need a phone that runs 4.3 JellyBean or higher version of Android to get full functionality. Below is the full list of specifications
