Sony VPL-VZ1000ES Ultra-Short Throw 4K HDR Home Theater Projector is designed to easily integrate into the living room. Gone are those days when you have to keep the projector couple of feet away. The VPL-VZ1000 can easily work when placed just 6 inches away from wall and yet, it will create a 100 inch image on wall in 16:9 aspect ratio. VPL-VZ1000ES Ultra-Short Throw 4K HDR Home Theater Projector will be available April 2017 for a suggested retail price of USD $24,999. It is available now for pre-order from authorized Sony retailers.
The Sony VPL-VZ1000ES projector can create native 4K resolution and is HDR compatible, creating jaw dropping visuals. The VPL-VZ1000ES weighs 35 kgs and is just 9 inches thick. This is 40% smaller than the current generation short throw projector from Sony, the VPL-GTZ1. The VPL-VZ1000ES comes with Z-Phosphor laser light source that generates 2500 lumens of color light output (25% higher than current gen projector).
