Sony announce two new models in Walkman lineup or portable audio players

The famed Walkman lineup from Sony will continue to exist in 2015. Sony has announce two new Walkman portable audio players NW-ZX100HN, NW-A25HN and NW-A27HN to bring Hi-Res Audio to masses. Sony has also announced h.ear (pronounced hear) range of headphones, h.ear on headband type headphones, h.ear NC Digital Noise Cancelling in-ear headphones. Sony’s new h.ear range and walkmans will be available in Europe from the month of October.

ZX100HN comes with 128GB of internal memory and users can expand memory using microSD card (up to 128GB). The display is a 3” QVGA 400×240 pixel resolution TFT LCD display. WIth support for lossless audio formats like FLAC, Apple Lossless, full active noise cancellation and support for Hi-Res audio  (FLAC 192kHz, 24-bit), Sony is making a strong sales pitch for audiophiles. A25HN and A27HN support Hi-Res audio and full active noise cancellation but come with 16GB and 64GB storage respectively and have smaller 2.2” 320×240 pixel resolution TFT LCD display.
