Sony A68 Camera with 4D focus is released in India for 56k INR

Sony A68 is a mid range D-SLR from Sony with an interesting feature, 4D FOCUS. This week, Sony has announced that the A68 camera will be available in India at a starting price of  Rs.55,999/-. A68 with a 18-55mm kit lens is priced at Rs.59,999/- and if you need the Sony A68 with 18-135mm lens, you have to shell out Rs.85,990/-.

The 4D FOCUS system gives powerful autofocus performance and can focus on object in no time even in low light conditions. Based on Phase Detection Autofocus, the 4D Focus system has 79 detection points, 15 cross points and a dedicated f/2.8f sensor point (for low light condition). Thanks to the super fast autofocus, the Sony A68 can do 8fps continuous shooting with constant AF tracking.

The sensor is an APS-C 24.2mp CMOS sensor with ISO100 – ISO 25600 sensitivity. Sony has added BIONZ X image processor to A68. Here is a full list of technical specifications of A68
