Smartron all set to launch t.phone
The Indian startup Smartron, backed by Sachin Tendulkar, is all set to launch its first mobile in India. They have already tasted success with their t.book, convertible tablet. The t.phone will be launched in an exclusive event in Hyderabad tomorrow (May 19th). We have been invited for the event and we will bring you all the details from the event. Make sure you follow us on Twitter for quick updates.
Here is what we know about the t.book already,
- It will be a very light weight mobile
- It will have a 12 MP rear camera and a 4 MP front camera
- It will be powered by a Qualcom Snapdragon 810 processor clocked at 1.9 GHz
- It will have 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, along with expandable memory
- It will come bundled with exclusive services from Smartron like t.care, t.cloud, hubtron, etc…
The price of the mobile is not yet known, but pricing is crucial for the mobile to be a success in India. I am expecting it to be priced under 15k. While you wait for more details on the mobile, you can read our review on the t.book by Smartron.
