SanDisk announced new automotive grade flash storage lineup eyeing connected cars market
SanDisk Corporation, pioneer in flash storage solutions has today announced a new lineup of automotive grade NAND flash solutions. The new lineup is meant for next generation connected cars and automotive infotainment systems. SanDisk Automotive storage solutions will be reliable, optimized for performance and enabled for wide range of in-vehicle applications including mapping and advanced augmented reality, entertainment systems, driver assist tech, event recording etc. Given that there will be atleast 250 million connected vehicles on roads by 2020, one who pioneers the storage solutions for this industry will see massive gain in the new decade. The new lineup is available for automotive manufacturer worldwide, starting this week.
SanDisk SD card and iNAND embedded flash drive (EFD) are announced today and will come with memory options unto 64GB. Both these are AEC-Q100 certified to meet reliability, endurance, quality and temperature demands of automative market.
