Samsung W2017 Android Flip Phone Launched With Snapdragon 820
Samsung has launched the successor to its dual display Flip phone, W2016. The device, dubbed as W2017 was launched in China today. The W2016 was launched in November last year and was exclusive to China. The W2017 has been listed on the company’s China website. There is no information about the global availability of the device.
The W2017 just like the W2016 features top of the line specs. The device is powered by a Quad core Qualcomm processor and comes with dual 4.2 inch AMOLED displays.
Samsung W2017 Specifications
The Samsung W2017 runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The device features two 4.2-inch Super AMOLED displays with a full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) screen resolution.
The Samsung W2017 is powered by a 2.1 GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Processor clubbed with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The storage on the device can be further expanded up to 256 GB via microSD card.
Coming to the camera department, The Samsung W2017 features a 12 megapixel primary camera with f/1.7 aperture and flash. The camera supports 4K video recording. On the front, the device sports a 5 megapixel secondary camera with f/1.9 aperture.
The Samsung W2017 is powered by a 2,300 mAh battery. Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and a Micro-USB.
