Samsung Tizen store now available worldwide
The only Tizen based phone, the Samsung Z1, can now have its users across the world access the Tizen app store without any restrictions. Samsung just made its app store available for users across the world, which was currently available only to Z1 users in India and Bangladesh.
Samsung has not really been enthusiastic about selling its Tizen based smartphone in any place other than India and Bangladesh. Even here, there has not been any sort of proper push for the device, resulting in low sales and interest in the device. While this new piece of information could mean Samsung is gearing up to start pushing its first Tizen based phone, or even expand the series by launching new phones running Tizen, there is little information out there. Samsung is keeps its cards close, so we may have to wait a little longer for now.
