Samsung Reveals Galaxy Tab A (2016)
Samsung has revealed its 2016 edition of the Galaxy Tab A. This was not announced in a press conference but with a listing on the company’s Dutch site without pricing and availability details. It is being priced at 169 Euros by Online retailers.
The Galaxy Tab A features a 7-inch display with 1280 x 800 resolution. The Tab A will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Touchwiz UI customization.
The Tab A is powered by a 1.3-GHz quad-core processor clubbed with 1.5 GB of RAM. The tablet will come with 8 GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 200 GB via microSD card.
It comes with a 5-megapixel primary camera without flash along with a 2-megapixel secondary camera. The device comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Glonass, and Micro-USB.
The tablet measures 186.9×108.8×8.7mm and weighs 283 grams. The tablet comes with a 4,000 mAh battery which Samsung claims will offer up to 11 hours of Internet usage, 9 hours of video streaming and up to 100 hours of playing music.
The tablet will be available in Black and White color options. There are no details as to when the device will be available.
