Samsung Galaxy V Plus comes with KitKat and dual SIM support for $82
Samsung has launched a new affordable smartphone (after a long time) that is not extremely out of touch with the realities of the budget segment. The new Galaxy V Plus comes with a 4 inch display, dual SIM support and KitKat for just $82.
Here are the specs of the Samsung Galaxy V Plus, a successor over the Galaxy V announced last year:
- Android 4.4 KitKat with TouchWiz on top
- 4 inch LCD display, 800 x 480 pixels resolution
- 1.2 GHz dual core processor
- 3 MP camera, LED flash; front facing VGA camera
- 512 MB RAM, 4 GB internal storage, expandable with a microSD card
- Dual SIM, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth
- 1500 mAh battery
- $82
The Samsung Galaxy V Plus goes on to show why other Asian and Indian OEMs have been trouncing Samsung in the budget and entry level segments. The fact that Samsung has launched a new affordable smartphone suggests that the company has not given up on this segment yet, but the specs speak an entirely different story altogether.
