Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime and J5 Prime released in India
Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime and J5 Prime are officially launched in India. Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime is priced at Rs. 18,790/- and the Galaxy J5 Prime is priced at Rs.14,790/-. The J7 Prime has a 5.5″ FullHD display and is powered by Exynos 7870 octa core chip. The J5 Prime has a 5″ 720p display and is powered by a 1.4GHz quad core chip (no specifics about model). Both the phones are available for purchase already in black and gold color options.
Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime has 3GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. To expand storage, Samsung has provided microSD card slot (up to 256GB). There are dual SIM card slots, supporting 4G LTE. There is no mention of VoLTE support though. The rear camera has a 13mp sensor while the front camera has an 8mp sensor. Uses can unlock the phone using fingerprint sensor. At launch, the J7 Prime comes with Marshmallow version of Android with Touchwiz UI overlay. The battery is rated at 3300mAh.
