Samsung launches Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 (2016)
Samsung has launched the Galaxy J5 (2016) and Galaxy J7 (2016) smartphones in India. The Galaxy J5 has been priced at Rs 13,990 while the Galaxy J7 is priced at Rs 15,990.
Both the device will be exclusively available via Flipkart from today. They will be sold in White, Gold, and Pink color variants. As an inaugural offer, Samsung is offering double data free to Airtel users for 6 months.
The Galaxy J5 features a 5.2-inch HD Super AMOLED display (720×1280 pixels) and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 chipset clubbed with 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB internal storage and a 3,100mAh battery. The storage can be expanded using microSD card.
The Galaxy J7 features a 5.5-inch Full HD display(720×1280 pixels) and is powered by a 1.6GHz Octa-Core Exynos 7870 processor clubbed with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, expandable using microSD card. The device is powered by a 3,300mAh battery.
Coming to the camera, both the devices are equipped with a 13-megapixel primary camera with LED flash with a f/1.9 aperture and five megapixel front camera.
Both the devices run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and come with 4G LTE and dual-SIM support. Connectivity options include dual-SIM, 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and NFC. Both the devices are equipped with the S Bike mode along with Ultra data saving (UDS) mode, which is powered by Opera Max.
