Samsung Galaxy J2 Ace With Ultra Data Saving Mode, 4G VoLTE Launched For Rs. 8,490

Samsung today launched another smartphone in the entry level price segment. The new Samsung Galaxy J2 Ace is one of the phones made by the company under the “Make for India” project, optimizing phones particularly for Indian users’ needs. Featuring an Ultra Data Savings mode and 4G VoLTE, this new affordable smartphone from Samsung has been priced at Rs. 8,490.

Samsung Galaxy J2 Ace Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy J2 Ace comes with a 5 inch qHD display, which is 960 x 540 pixels resulting in a pixel density of ~220 PPI. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and comes TouchWiz UI on top.

In terms of processor, the Galaxy J2 Ace comes with a Mediatek MT6737T SoC, featuring a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor and Mali-T720 GPU. The phone comes with 1.5 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage, expandable with a microSD card up to 256 GB.

Coming to imaging, you get an 8 MP camera on the back. Assisting the rear camera is an LED flash. The rear camera comes with an f/2.2 aperture. On the front, you get a 5 MP camera for selfies and video calling.

Talking about the Ultra Data Savings mode designed especially for Indian networks and users, Samsung says that it can save you up to 50% of data when UDS mode is turned on.

Connectivity options include dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS and FM Radio. The Galaxy J2 Ace is powered by a 2600 mAh battery.

Pricing And Availability

Samsung has priced the Galaxy J2 Ace at Rs. 8,490. It is available across all retailers in the country in Gold, Black and Silver colour options.
