Samsung launches Galaxy C5 With 4 GB of RAM
Samsung has launched the first Galaxy C-Series smartphone, dubbed as the Samsung Galaxy C5. The smartphone has been launched in China in 32 GB and 64 GB variants.
The Galaxy C5 runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshamallow with Samsung’s Touchwiz UI skinned on top. The device comes with a full metal body. It is up for pre-orders in China, and will go on sale on June 6.
The Galaxy C5 features a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) Super Amoled display. The home button below the display is a finger print sensor. Samsung has also added Samsung Pay support.
The Galaxy C5 is powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor with four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz, and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.2GHz with Adreno 405 GPU. The device comes with 4 GB of RAM. There are 2 variants with regards to storage. There is a 32 GB variant and a 64 GB variant. Both the device come with microSD expansion. The dual SIM device comes with a hybrid SIM slot so if you wish to use microSD card, you will be able to use single SIM slot only.
The Galaxy C5 sports a 16 megapixel rear autofocus camera with dual tone LED flash and f/1.9 aperture. The device comes with an 8 megapixel front facing camera with f/1.9 aperture.
On the connectivity front, the device includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, NFC, Micro-USB and 3.5mm audio jack. The device is powered by a 2600mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support. The battery is supposed to provide 237 hours of standby time on 4G.

Pricing and Availability
The 32 GB variant of Galaxy C5 has been priced at CNY 2,199 and the 64 GB variant has been priced at CNY 2,399. It will be available in Gold, Pink Gold, Silver and Grey color options.
