Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) Launched in South Korea
Samsung today launched the latest device in its Galaxy series, dubbed as the Galaxy A8 (2016). The device was launched in South Korea. This is the successor to last year’s A8. The A8 will be sold by SK Telecom and the pre-orders will begin from October 1.
The Samsung Galaxy (2016) A8 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and features a 5.7 inch full HD ( 1080 x 1920) Super AMOLED display. The display comes with a pixel density of ~386 PPI.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) is powered by a 2.1 GHz octa core Exynos 7420 processor clubbed with Mali-T760MP8 GPU. The device comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 / 64 GB of internal storage. The storage on the A8 can be further expanded up to 256 GB via microSD card.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) features a 16 MP primary camera with f/1.9 aperture, autofocus and LED flash. The device comes with an 8 MP secondary camera with f/1.9 aperture.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 is powered by a 3,300 mAh battery. Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), NFC, GPS, FM radio and Micro USB 2.0.
