Samsung Galaxy A8+

Samsung Galaxy A8+ is the brand new premium smartphone from the Korean electronics giant, set to take on OnePlus 5T. Priced at Rs.32,990/- the Galaxy A8+ will be sold in Black and Gold colors. This is the first phone from Samsung to feature Dual Front Camera and minimal bezel display. Galaxy A8+ will be available exclusively on Amazon starting January 20, 2018.

Samsung Galaxy A8+ chassis has an ergonomic curved glass on front and back with metal underneath and metal frame. This is in line with metal and glass design that started with the first A series phone. A8+ comes with a large 6″ Infinity Display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The display has Super AMOLED panel and supports always on mode. Powered by a 2.2GHz+1.6Hz octa core processor, the Galaxy A8+ comes with Android 7.1.1 Nougat pre-loaded. The front camera setup has a 16mp f/1.9 and 8mp f/1.9 lens. The rear camera has a single 16mp f/1.7 camera.  The dual front camera setup helps taking great portrait selfies with blurred background.

The Samsung Galaxy A8+ comes with IP68 dust and water resistance. One great imporvement over the S8 is the placement of fingerprint sensor. The A8+ fingerprint sensor sits below the camera module. Samsung has included Bixby smart assistant with the A8+.
