Samsung announces Galaxy A5 and A7 launch in India
Samsung today announced the launch of its two new smartphones – Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 – at its Southwest Asia Forum 2016 in Kuala Lumpur.

Continuing the Galaxy A legacy in India, the Galaxy A7 (2016) and the Galaxy A5 (2016) come with a stunning glass and metal design and Flagship like features such as enhanced camera, long lasting battery space with fast charging capability and a powerful Octa-Core processor that can tackle heavy usage,” said Manu Sharma, Director, Mobiles Business, Samsung India Electronics.
The Galaxy A5 has been priced at Rs. 29,400 while the Galaxy A7 has been priced at Rs. 33,400. Both the devices will be available in the country via Snapdeal and offline retailers starting February 15.
The Galaxy A7 features a 5.2-inch full HD AMOLED display while the A7 features a 5.5-inch full HD super AMOLED display. Both the phones are powered by 1.6GHz Octa-core processor. The A5 has 2 GB of RAM and the A7 comes with 3 GB of RAM. The Galaxy A5 is powered with a 2900 mAh battery and the A7 with a 3300mAh one.
Both the devices have the same camera hardware. They feature a 13 MP primary camera with F1.9 aperture and OIS along with a 5 MP secondary camera with F1.9 aperture and both the devices have a fingerprint sensor.
