Samsung announce Galaxy Tab S2 tablets to compete with iPad Air

Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is the new tablet lineup from Samsung to go head on against Apple’s top end iPad Air line of tablets. S2 tablets come with the thinnest and lightest metal frame in the market and are remarkably powerful. S2 will be available in 8” and 9.7” size displays. While the 9.7” model weights 389 grams, the 8” variant weighs 256 grams. Powered by Quad 1.9GHz + Quad 1.3GHz, Octacore application processor, Galaxy S2 tablets will be available in the markets across the globe from the month of August 2015.

Samsung has used Super AMOLED display panels to create rich display quality and these panels will deliver 94% of natural tones. Samsung has included features like Adaptive Display that adjusts gamma, saturation and sharpness levels based on application, reading mode that modifies screen brightness level while reading content. In line with top of the line Galaxy smartphones, S2 tablets come with finger print scanner placed on home button and also offer superior multitasking options.
