Samsung announce Galaxy A9 Pro
Samsung’s Galaxy A series marked the beginning of a new era of beautiful and metallic smartphones that turned the tide for the Korean giant. This week, Samsung has announced a new member, the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (SM-A9100) for Chinese market. The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset is retailing for Y3499.
As expected, Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro has a metal frame and glass back. The phone will be available in White, Rose Gold and Gold color options. There is a fingerprint sensor that makes authentication easier and faster than ever before. Thanks to the massive 5000mAh battery and fast charging, Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro users do not have to worry about battery life at all. The new TouchWiz UI and its ‘ultra battery saver’ mode makes it lot more easier to manage battery life.
The display is a 6” Super AMOLED unit with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro runs Android 5.1 Lollipop at launch and we hope tht the update to Marshmallow will happen soon. There is 32GB of internal storage and this can be expanded using microSD card (up to 128GB).
Coming to optics, the rear camera is a 16mp unit and has Optical Image Stabilization and the front facing camera is an 8mp unit (to deliver high quality selfies).
